Supporting Our Troops of the Day: Oregon Ducks head football coach Chip Kelly has made honoring the military a tradition at the annual spring game, and this year was no different. To the cheers of 44,129 fans, the team welcomed 100 military personnel onto the field, where Ducks football players presented them with jerseys. And not just any jerseys — the notoriously gaudy, Nike-designed jerseys off their stinky, sweat-soaked backs.

Next year, Ducks, if you’re going to saddle military personnel with ugly unis, at least spring for new ones.

I Can Has Existentialism? of the Day: Holy stereotypical Pacific Northwest shenanigans, Batman! Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold is set to score The Internet – A Blog Cats WTF Universe, a feature-length film presumably about, well, the Internet, blogs, cats, WTF, and maybe even the universe.

Pecknold’s connection to such a strange project? His brother Sean (who has directedFleet Foxes videos in the past) is the mastermind behind it.

From the film’s Kickstarter page:

Matt is one of the best LOLCat caption writers in the world. He’s experienced the rise of the internet and came out on top. Thousands of fans, plenty of money in the bank, a successful career. But one day he realizes that perhaps there’s more to life than just viral internet cat humor. So he packs his bags and moves to Berlin, the new center of the artistic and philosophical renaissance, or so he’s been told.
